The Thunder Mountain Line operates two scenic routes through Idaho's rugged, beautiful Payette River Canyon along one of the world's most renowned whitewater rivers. Both the Horseshoe Bend Express and the Carbarton Flyer offer dinner trains, as well as wine tasting, murder mystery dinner, fireside dinner, wild west and special holiday excursions. Enjoy an exquisite dinner in the restored 40's era dining cars, then take in the spectacular scenery from one of the open cars as the train moves through wild rangelands, pristine forests and mountain meadows.
