| The Flamingo Dinner Train is operated as part of the Rail education efforts of the Kentucky-Indiana Rail Advocates. These monthly trips offer the puclic a chance to experience rail travel in a three hour excursion on the Kentucky Railway Museum railroad. Trains depart from the New Haven, Kentucky Depot and operate from New Haven to Boston to Gethsemene to New Hope, Kentucky. The Flamingo Excursions operate with booth Steam and Diesel Power. On Selected excursions Louisville and Nashville Pacific Class 4-6-2 # 152 is used. On Diesel Powered trips the trains are powered by Santa Fe CF7 , Monon Bl 2 #32 and other diesels owned by the museum. | ||
