Did the Cape Train August '02. It was tremendous. Restored luxury coaches, elegant dinner setting, delicious food. Wine prices were very reasonable as well. You get to see the Cape from a perspective you can't get than from the rails. The bogs are a very nice.

Do not believe the hype about a dress code. None exists. The appetizers are just so-so. ``The soup (clam chowder) is more potato soup than clam soup. The salad was very nice. The entrees were quite good. Dessert was OK also. But for $60 per person, plus drinks, plus meal tax, plus tip on the entire amount, $170 for two people seemed a bit much for the offerings. Unfortunately, brush along the line (we traveled on 7-24-03) was so lush that not much was seen. A lot of less than desirable trackside sites, typical for a railroad. Would I go again? Perhaps on a special occasion, as was this trip on our 2nd Anniversary.

The Dinner Train was well worth the time and cost ! Atmosphere was elegant and inviting. The dinner was excellent ! A completely relaxing experience and you can't beat the scenery going over the Canal Train Bridge.``
