Our first dinner train. We've heard horror stories about overpricing and bad food, this had neither. Both my wife and I were satisfied with the meals. We sat at same table with a (previously unknown to us)couple from rural Illinois, fortunately they were pleasant and had local knowledge. This made is almost like a guided tour for our first trip to St. Louis. ````Recommended.

Train is immaculate, a real step into the past. Train ride goes through the St. Louis of now and the St. Louis of then. Staff is top notch and food is spectacular.

My wife and I went on the train for our tenth anniversary. It was a wonderful way to spend an evening together. We enjoyed the scenic views of downtown St. Louis at night from across the river. The atmosphere of the train was top-notch, with leather, dark wood, polished brass, etc., and the food and the staff were without flaw. I highly recommend this as a way to celebrate a special event or to just have a relaxing and romantic time.

Way overpriced. Food was served cold and was tasteless. Could not get refills on our water or coffee. Train travels through too many industrial eye sore areas. Would not recommend.

Unfortunately, this dinner train ride is defunct. The closest dinner train to St. Louis is now in Jackson, MO, about 100 miles to the south.
