My wife and I do the dinner train 2-3 times each year with family and friends. It is always the highlight of their trip to the White Mountains.

A marvelous way to enjoy fine dining and the beatiful White Mountains. David made the evening, and the waitstaff were right on top of everthing.

What a great experience! The service was great..and I agree with another review that David made the evening. The food was outstanding. A unique and nostalgic way to dine. We are already planning next year's visit.

My husband and I spent 3 weeks in New Hampshire and Vermont this fall. One of the highlights of our trip was the unforgettable meal on the Cafe Lafayette Dinner Train. David put on quit a show, watch him pour water some time, but he could not be outdone by the magnificient meal. We highly recommend this attraction.

My husband and I planned a great anniversary trip to New Hampshire, and Cafe Lafayette was supposed to be the definite highlight of the trip. However, we were very disillusioned after just a few minutes. Although the food was truly unique and sophisticated (Cafe Pate!)and the service was friendly, the views were quite the contrary. You won't be surrounded by the beautiful, lush forests and mountain vistas - you'll see some trees, lots of peoples' backyards, golf courses (!)and....prepare yourself: a shipping&loading tractor trailer base will await you at some moment during the trip. I'd definitely not recommend this trip. You'll have wonderful views going on the highway through the magnificent Franconia Notch State Park - truly breathtaking views for free!
