What a disappointment. OVERPRICED! Food was nothing special other than it was on an old train that bounced around a lot. The waitperson kept stepping on my foot so often, I was happy just to be able to get off this contraption.``

The only reason I gave this trip 1 star was because it did not derail. Food was bland and overpriced. I should have brought my little bottle of ketchup to help things taste better.

Took the trip and it was well worth it. We've been on 7 different dinner trians and this one gets high marks. 1st year was good, 2nd year was much better. We are looking forward to next year!

Lucky enough to have received tickets as a gift from my daughter. The experience was truly unexpected. The staff was outstandingly attentative and gracious. The food was delicious. Each course got better as the meal proceeded. The view is a little unspectacular because there is little to see in the area after dark. However, the Mountain Town train was a definite delight and a true Central Michigan treasure.

I was able to treat my wife on our 20 year anniversary with a trip on the Mountain Town Limited Dinner Train. It was an experience that we'll both never forget. Food and service were great and it was just such a unique experience outstanding. We will be back! ````Erik

4 of us went, and all regretted it. The food was nothing special and certainly not worth the high price. The only thing different was it was on a train. I could have rode Amtrak, had better food, and gone somewhere, all for less.

I took my future wife on this dinner train and proposed to her and we've rode it 2 times since. It's an time in our lives we will never forget. Well worth it!! Looking forward to a new menu however.

Had a great time on the train. Food was great but could of been a bit warmer. There is also a great restaurant in the old train station. We look forward to trying that next!!

We had our 40 year class reunion on the dinner train and it was fantastic. Food was awesome and the guys serving us were fantastic. What an experiance!! Hope we are all still alive for the 50th :)
